Membership Votes on New Name

Wednesday, 05 December 2018

On December 20th, members of the SECHC will meet at the Michel and Lise Raymond community room in Alban to vote on the proposed new name for the organisation. The name Centre de santé UNIVI Health Centre has been retained by the Board of Directors following an extensive community consultation of three months. This new name replaces the existing name of Sudbury East Community Health Centre in both French and English. This new name is a constructed name from the word 'united' and the word 'vie', which stands for life in French. The Special General Meeting starts at 4 p.m. on Thursday December 20th. Please join us in this historical membership vote.

The Warren and District Lions Club, in collaboration with the Noëlville – French River Lions Club, are working with the Sudbury East Community Health Centre and the French River Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic to offer a transportation service to community and health services in the Sudbury East area. Please see the press release attached.
