The Sudbury East Community Health Centre (SECHC) will be holding a Special General Meeting of its members on Tuesday March 6th, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Club Alidor in St-Charles. During this special meeting, the members of the SECHC will vote on changes to the administrative by-laws of the SECHC. The proposed changes will allow the full integration of the primary care services of the French River Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic and those of the SECHC. You should note that the document that contains all of the proposed changes to the administrative by-laws will be available for viewing only at the Noëlville site of the SECHC, during normal office hours, as of February 28th, 2018. Hoping you can join us for this important meeting.

The French River Nurse Practitioner Lead Clinic (French River NPLC) and the Sudbury East Community Health Centre are teaming up and reaching out to the community to test its new model of health care. Over the past couple of months, the Executive Directors of both organizations along with some Board members and community members have been discussing different aspects of the proposed new model of health care. This Client Advisory Committee has come up with numerous recommendations that will be forwarded to both Board of Directors as we move forward with the new model of health care. To get more information about the committee findings or to find out  all that has been done to date, please have a look at the French River NPLC website at the following link http://www.frenchrivernplc.ca/

The Warren and District Lions Club, in collaboration with the Noëlville – French River Lions Club, are working with the Sudbury East Community Health Centre and the French River Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic to offer a transportation service to community and health services in the Sudbury East area.
