Mental health refers to our emotional well being; how we feel, think and behave. Our mental health is just as important as our physical health and it’s essential to care for it.
Our mental health services at the Sudbury East Community Health Centre (SECHC) provide assessment, coordination, referrals and counseling support to clients. The counseling support is offered to individuals (children and adults), couples, and families for a wide range of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, separation/divorce, conflicts, communication, grief, and addictions.
As well, groups are offered throughout the year to assist community members and clients with grief, smoking cessation, and to support caregivers of loved ones with memory loss.
